Banana Date Lactation Smoothie


 A quick, satisfying breakfast or afternoon snack, this Banana Date Lactation Smoothie delivers on taste and nutrition for breastfeeding mamas. Bananas are rich in potassium and dietary fiber to help keep you full longer, while dates will give you a boost in natural energy and deliver much-needed iron. Banana Date Lactation Smoothie 

2/3 cup almond milk

3 dates, pitted

1 frozen banana

1/2 tablespoon Oat Mama Brewer's Yeast

1/2 tablespoon ground flax

1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2 to 3 ice cubes

Pinch of salt

Place all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. 

Optional - top with chopped dates, bananas, or granola.
