It’s almost that time of year again when you notice Summer is just around the corner - and when all things iced and smoothie-titled are necessary. I love using frozen bananas as the base in most of my smoothies. It adds a thick and creamy element that I love and crave in a smoothie. With this Banana Chai Spiced Lactation Smoothie, I blended a frozen banana with almond milk, some rolled oats for heartiness (and not to mention, it’s a great lactation supporting ingredient!) and then added a hint of spiciness with some classic chai spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and cloves.
