Lactation Chai Latte

 Lactation Chai Latte  Recipe 2 tea bags of Oat Mama Chai Spice Lactation Tea 4 ounces of water 4 ounces of coconut milk 1 tablespoon of honey Directions  1. Bring water and coconut mil to a boil in a small sauce pot. 2. Remove from heat and add both tea bags. 3. Steep for 5 to 6 minutes. 4. Remove tea bags and stir in honey.  5. Enjoy!    *Tip: Re-steep tea bags for an additional cup of tea.

Oat Mama Chai Hot Mock Toddy 

Fall is upon us and that means cooler nights with drinks around the fire.  Hot Toddys are a favorite around here and we love the additional flavor that our organic Chai Tea adds to the recipe. This is also the perfect drink for cold season and can be a great immune system booster. I love pulling from other cultures to see how women nurture each other with traditional foods after birth. Here is a recipe that is close to my heart because I gave birth to my first son in South Korea, and this warm nourishing bowl of goodness was served to me at the birthing center. As the story goes, the history behind eating this Seaweed Soup came from ancient Koreans observing whale mothers gorging themselves on seaweed after birth. Banana Chai Spiced Lactation Smoothie

It’s almost that time of year again when you notice Summer is just around the corner - and when all things iced and smoothie-titled are necessary. I love using frozen bananas as the base in most of my smoothies.
